Unhut pot with smoked sausage

Ingredients:

  • 450 g Cêlavíta potato cubes
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 250 g peeled carrots, cut into approx. 2.5 cm pieces
  • 2 white onions, cleaned and cut into half rings
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Pepper and salt, to taste
  • 1 smoked sausage

 

Extra needed:

Kitchen paper

Preparation

Step 1:

In a large wok pan, heat 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil. Add the potatoes and sliced carrots. Fry the potatoes for about 10 minutes until golden brown, stirring regularly. Finally, add the sliced onion and a tablespoon of butter and continue frying for about 3 minutes.
Season the unshelled pot with salt and pepper.

 

Step 2:

Meanwhile, heat the smoked sausage according to instructions on the packet.

 

Step 3:

Serve the unshelled pot with the smoked sausage on top and serve with sauce as desired.

 

Tip: 

Delicious with gravy, mustard e/o piccalilli.
